Request: Specialized Apps that Do Unique Things
What are some apps that are somewhat specialized that do some pretty unique things to your workflow. They can be one-trick-ponies or be a bigger app that has a standout feature. I have a couple to get this going. I have NO relation to these apps: DWG to PDF Converted - I use a lot of DWG files and when I print them in autocad, its super annoying getting rid of the white space. This app does a great job at nicely printing them with no white space. LaunchControl - while it is a service manager app, I use it to launch and control WireGuard connections, that become my favorite GUI for the purpose.

OMG BrewCad is unreal.... I can't believe how amazing this app is... I do have a question.. I do roof plans.. aside from viewing the dwg, is there a way I can add items to it using dimensions? For example, if I need to add a roof, I can add a 100x20'..
I’m a big fan of reminders-menubar. It’s a simple menu bar app that allows you to quickly set Reminders and also see your upcoming Reminders. I use it all the time and rarely open the actual Reminders app because of how handy this is.
Three genuinely useful one-job apps: Velja routes links to a specific browser, browser profile, or native app. I use this kind of rule for opening meeting links in the right work browser instead of whichever browser happens to be default. Clop automatically optimises copied images, screen recordings, and PDFs locally before you paste or send them. It is especially handy for keeping screenshots in email or chat from becoming huge. Pure Paste strips formatting and invisible characters from copied text while leaving unrelated clipboard items alone. It can also clean tracking parameters from URLs. No connection to any of them.

You say Mappa Mini — and I raise with Popclip It has a ton of functionality but one plugin let’s you select text in any app and do a map search (you can pick Apple or Google Maps) (You can see the two icons below in the pop-up bar when you select text. That's what pop clip does and those are the two mapping icons. There are tons of other plugins as you can see) I use the search and amazon and youtube search plugins all the time. Highlight text, and click the icon - so much easier than copying and pasting into a browser!
