TuringShot 1.5.2, live screen zoom and focus tools for Mac demos

Problem I record a lot of coding tutorials and product demos on a Mac. The recording app is usually not the part that wastes time. The problem is that the source screen is hard to follow: tiny menus, fast cursor movement, small settings panels, or one button that needs attention for two seconds. I used to fix those moments later with zooms, callouts, labels, and extra edits. That works, but doing it over and over gets old fast. As someone who also records coding tutorials, the problem description is painfully accurate. The re-edit loop for "this menu was too small" moments is exactly where hours disappear. Does the text memo snap to a specific position or does it float with the cursor? I'm thinking about using it for keyboard shortcut callouts mid-demo.

Can the focus highlight/spotlight have the edges blurred so that it’s a softer gradient?
Thanks for the suggestion! Adding an adjustable feather/blur option for the spotlight edge is a great idea — I’ll look into adding a softness slider in a future update
