Search Panel, a macOS and iOS app for Google Search Console

Full contextOriginal content · Reddit

I've built a macOS app for Google Search Console. Enjoy a native interface for viewing website performance (clicks/impressions), managing sites, adding sitemaps and more. The new macOS client provides a macOS interface for the existing iOS app and includes pop-out graphs. https://apps.apple.com/app/search-panel-search-console/id6745721627 Problem: Google's Search Console website has no dashboard, a clunky interface and no dark mode. Comparison: Although there are iPad apps you can run on macOS, I cannot find another macOS navigate app which motivated me to build one. Pricing: Lifetime $24.99, Monthly $3.99, Free users can view weekly data for all sites. Includes macOS and iOS apps. Search Panel can be downloaded through the App Store and full information is available on the Search Panel Website. I hope those who use GSC may find it useful. I appreciate any feedback. Thanks, Andy

does this do anything about the data lag or is it still 3 days behind like the web API ? that’s my main frustration with GSC , by the time you see a traffic drop , it’s already old news

Unfortunately it’s the same data. One difference however is the websites preset ranges seem to finish a couple of days back, I assume to show finalised data. In Search Panel I prefer to use today as the end point, which includes non-final data. Not sure that will help much but it’s the best I’ve got!

Is there a way to add multiple Gmail accounts so we can track properties over different accounts we own?

I, too, would be interested in the multiple Gmail accounts capacity. Please ping me when you add it.

Thanks, I think it's pretty useful, the only downside I would consider is if google decides to do their own app on mac, right?

Very true, although I had been searching for a Google Search Console app for iPhone for years before I decided to make one so I’m not sure they are going to do iOS let alone macOS.

The likelihood that Apple will ever make a macOS native desktop application for GSC is incredibly low. This app looks great.

after adding a site to test, it says "Oops, you don't have access to this property"

The app should prompt you to open the search console website to verify your ownership. May I ask which domain you used? Was it one that you own? Thanks.

Reddit took issues with the faded border during upload while 'optimising' it. I couldn't seem to edit the images after I posted.

This is cool. Is there anything similar for App Store Connect?
