Is backdrop worth 12.49 euros?
I recently got a 50% discount code that brought the lifetime plan down to €12.49. Wanted to ask if anyone here thinks it's worth it at that price. Is it worth it or is there a better alternative for the money?

What even is a backdrop
Suppose the idea that we all go and google it. nah, not gonna work with me.
Mmm interesting marketing idea though!
Totally. The only wallpaper app I know that works with a lock screen wallpaper stably (by adding its own wallpaper to system settings)
I personally prefer it over Wallper, for me at least Wallper was around 10-15% CPU consistently, Backdrop was very low, always around 1-2%.
If one time purchase -> no brainer as the updates are "promised" by reputable developer.
Haven't tried more than the trial, but it seems to be one of the better devs with one of the better UI's out of all of them, and I've compared most. Out of the rest, Wallper is good too.
Yes it’s the best one out of all of them. Reason for me is it has the most available wallpapers. Other apps have much less available. It’s also designed very well and the developer actively fixes and adds features.
I use it. It's really nice. To be fair, I haven't tested out many other options like Wallper, but I've had no need to as this already has everything I need.
It’s a solid app. Very low on resources and has a decent amount of wallpapers.
What is the best one for just getting high res static wallpapers? I personally am not a fan of the animated wallpapers
Backdrop is exceptional
at €12.49 lifetime it's a no-brainer honestly. I've been using it for months and the CPU usage is negligible compared to other wallpaper apps I tried
Personally I dont like backdrop because the wallpapers are way too fast and doesnt really match the style of macos
I paid for it. I like it. Backdrop is an animated Mac Wallpaper app similar to wallpaper engine.
Wallpaper engine is a one time $5 purchase. A monthly subscription for a freaking wallpaper app? Fucking shameless lol
Wallpaper Engine is PC only. And there is lifetime purchase option.
