Quitter - Automatically hide or quit apps when inactive (free)
Do you use it? Is it pretty stable? I just need it for apps like discord, that i only check once every few hours and would rather have it closed to not eat ram.
Yes, I use it for quite some time already. It's flawless.
Quitter and QuitAll
Quitall is awesome, use every day. It doesn't auto close apps after a while does it?
Quitall does have an option to autoclose apps after a certain time. But I use quitter and it’s been pretty good so far.
QuitAll does not have the functionality OP asks for. But if interesting as well, then also have a look at Quit All Apps. Roughly one tenth of the price of QuitAll.
Super simple app!! Will be checking this out.
Leaf as well
Never heard of it. Seems cool by looking at the website.
Also Raycast has such feature
Oh i didnt know that
Yeah https://manual.raycast.com/auto-quit I guess it is not as advanced as a special app, but for simple cases, it definitely works.
You’ll want this until you don’t.
https://marco.org/apps does exactly this. I don't use it, because I have a python script that does it pretty reliably. Not sure if I can share directly on here, but if a mod confirms, I can share a Github Gist with it.
My Supercharge app has this feature.
