Traffic Lights on Mission Control
I used to have an app that would do this exact thing. Where it puts the red yellow green “traffic lights” button on the upper left corner of windows in mission control. The setting literally refers to it as Traffic Lights. I kinda lost it when I used a time machine on my mac and have been struggling to find it Does anyone know this app? Thanks!

I'm using one called ExtraMissionControls, if it's not the one you remember, it does do the same thing.
Will check this out if I can’t find it! Thank you
Is it DockDoor?
I could’ve sworn that it is since I used to have it! But I am now using dockdoor pro, doesn’t seem to have the option to show the red yellow green on mission control.
I think you might be thinking of BetterTouchTool. It has an option to add custom window controls and modify the macOS traffic light buttons (red/yellow/green) in the title bar. Another possibility is Moom or Zooom/Rectangle Pro, which also customise window controls and behaviour around the traffic lights. If you remember whether it added extra buttons next to the three lights (like maximise, move, snap, etc.) or just restored the standard buttons in Mission Control, that might narrow it down.
I don’t think it adds extra buttons. It just shows the standard red yellow green on the windows. And to clarify, it only adds it on the Mission Control windows. I do remember the app itself not a dedicated mission control app
Mission Control Plus is the app you’re looking for for.
Two things. First, a candidate nobody's mentioned yet: Mission Control Plus. It adds window controls (close/quit buttons) right onto the windows in Mission Control, which is basically what you're describing, so it's worth a look alongside the ExtraMissionControls someone already named. Second, a shortcut to nail the exact one instead of guessing: since you had it before the Time Machine restore, browse into your Time Machine backup and check the /Applications folder from back when it worked, or ~/Library/Preferences for a .plist with "traffic" or "mission" in the name. The old app (or at least its preference file with the real bundle name) is almost certainly still sitting in the backup, and that'll tell you exactly what it was.
I love these weirdly specific Mac utility searches. Half my menu bar exists because of problems like this.
Traffic lights buttons are too small to operate, check out Click2Minimize where you can just use 3-finger or middle mouse button to minmize/close windows in Mission Control.

Definitely an option if I can’t find it. Thank you!
