I use judge.me right now but just realized they limit my reviews on the free plan. My store really isn’t that big so paying $15 a month hurts a bit. Are there any free alternatives?

Judge.me is pretty good. Its bare bones but it works! That's all that matters.

So that's the weird part. I dont have that on the stores I have it on. The free version appears to show 50 plus reviews, in another instance its like 156ish and still free. Did they change it recently? O.o

Reviews are expensive, Judge.me is probably your cheapest option for a reputable reviews app
Yeah. Review apps are very expensive and judge.me is one of the cheaper options im afraid. You need to think of it as investment in your website/store. The reviews are giving you credibility which will help with sales going forward.
You can give Perkstack a try! It offers reviews, with photos included and full moderation + Klavyio integration and you can even set it all up using your favorite AI, it has a built in MCP server.
