I run a small bakery in France and I'm looking for an e-commerce solution that fits my needs, but I can't seem to find anything. Honestly, I feel like I'm asking for the moon when I only want pretty basic features. Basically, I want my customers to be able to order online for Click & Collect only (no shipping). Since everything is baked fresh every morning, I can't have people ordering large quantities less than 24 hours in advance. For small orders, it's fine, but since no platform seems to have this specific logic built-in, I currently just enforce a blanket 24-hour delay on all orders. I also offer "menus" (bundle boxes) that I'd like to bring online. For example, I sell boxes of 6 products at a discounted price, and the customer should be able to choose what goes inside their box (a mix-and-match option). For order management, I need real-time alerts. The absolute best setup would be a small thermal printer that automatically prints orders as they come in. Otherwise, a dedicated iPad app on my POS with loud notifications could work. For just these three features, the only platform that seems capable is Shopify (with the Shopify Plus). I tried WooCommerce, but even with paid plugins, it doesn't handle Click & Collect well. Plus, you can't easily sort orders by pickup day, which led to us constantly missing orders. I also sell to wholesale/B2B customers. Some pick up their orders, others get delivered. We handle the shipping ourselves, so the platform doesn't need to manage carrier rates, I can just create a "shipping" product line. But that would be nice if it's built in. My B2B requirements are: A catalog with 20% off across the board for B2B accounts. Tiered pricing (decreasing unit prices for large quantities). Custom negotiated prices for specific clients. To get both D2C and B2B on the same system, platforms usually push you toward Shopify Plus, which costs $2,000/month wich is completely impossible for a small business like mine. I am 100% fine with having two completely separate solutions for D2C and B2B, as long as it doesn't break the bank. Ideally, the B2B side would let me set rules like minimum order quantities or specific delivery days, but I can skip that for now if needed. Right now, I can't find a single platform that handles both. And if I go with Shopify for D2C, I can't find a budget-friendly way to handle my B2B needs. Does anyone have recommendations for apps, plugins, or alternative platforms (maybe Odoo, PrestaShop, Squarespace, or specific Shopify apps) that could solve this? Magento(Adobe Commerce) , netohq(Maropost), sitecore Again if the business is that unique, I would definitely go for a custom solution for wholesale and keep a basic Shopify for D2C. I have handled a custom Shopify as well as standalone custom for B2B. Ask away
I mean is it that unique ? Having custom prices for a b2b customer seems pretty basic to me. Building a custom solution would probably cost a lot which we can't afford at the moment
A custom solution might be some automations (n8n/Make, for example, for the label printer), and a custom Woocommerce or Shopify plug-in. The development might cost you more than a month of Shopify plus, but probably under 6 months of it; and then the running cost would be minimal. I used to have an e-comm store with both B2B and B2C a while back, I built it on Odoo + Wocommerce and ran it on a $50 VPS. Granted, it was a few months of initial setup (it would probably be faster now)

When Neto was starting I used them a lot, then they got bought out and after that I didn’t get a chance to try again . But it was a robust platform ,unlike woo .

There's a few things that look like they might need a bit of work, but basically it's a shop with some plugins. WooCommerce for Local Pickup, WooCommerce Mix and Match Products, Order Delivery Date/Delivery & Pickup Date Time for setting the pickup times, and there are multiple B2B pricing plugins. I can't answer the 'Large orders needing custom notice', but if no plugin, I am sure you could pull together a custom snippet, or find someone who can.
I have a similar setup and funny enough I am building the b2b side as of the writing of this. Shopify just opened up some b2b functionalities for the lower tiers so you may get away with not needing Plus https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/b2b/getting-started/plan-features
