Auto Printing Software with shopify
Hey! My work uses shopify and we want to find some auto printing software to use for orders. We tried printerco but it said its no longer supported. Any recommendations or methods people use? Thank you!

You don’t need software. Just a printer with an email address like an Epson. Then add that email address to order notifications. Works great. Some printers require you to update the code of the order notifications template so it displays properly. Ive done this several times for many clients.
Thanks for the feedback! I looked online and called support but they said it doesn't have that email feature. Do you happen to know the printer model you use? Just curious to look into it if I cannot figure it out with my own printer
Any epson printer with epson connect will work. I typically use et3830. The printers come with a stock email address that you can change, then anything sent to that email automatically prints. Shopify support is dogsh*t. They never get anything right.

Heres a guy doing it with an HP too youtube
The Epson email-to-print trick works, but heads up on the catch you already hit: it depends on the printer maker's cloud service, so when they retire it you are stuck. That is basically what happened with your printerco, and HP killed their ePrint email-to-print the same way back in 2023. It also prints the raw email, which is why people end up editing the notification template to make it look right. If you want something not tied to one printer brand, the software route is to auto-print from your inbox: point your Shopify order emails (or the packing-slip PDFs) at an inbox and a small app prints each one to whatever printer you already have. Full disclosure, I build one of these called AutoPrintEmail, but Order Printer Pro inside Shopify also auto-prints on new order if you would rather stay fully native. Happy to answer setup questions either way.
You can use our app: Pixi Order Printer. If your printer has an email, use the email id to directly send orders via pixi using the email automations If it doesn't there is something called Print node. Its a software you install on the computer you connect to the printer. Pixi supports print node through our flow automation. Video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U1cw_uv0fhk
