Contentsquare came up in our evaluation and the pricing conversation was brief. We're a growing mobile commerce company, mid-market MAU, team of five. Not the target customer for enterprise pricing. The behavioral depth we need: understanding why mobile checkout converts at 40% of desktop, what's happening at specific drop-off steps, gesture-level analysis of the checkout flow.

a 40% conversion gap between mobile and desktop is significant enough that you should be able to find the cause with the right tool. without session recording on representative android devices it stays invisible regardless of how much event data you collect

I'd just say that Microsoft Clarity or Hotjar will get you 80% of the way there for free, and both of these have solid mobile session replays and funnel analysis. Clarity in particular records all session, and for your gesture stuff it actually does capture rage & dead clicks, and scroll maps on both devices. You've got a big gap of 40%, but tbh when it's this high it's almost always not just some gesture problem, it's a trust and form friction problem at checkout. I'd just sit and watch 30-50 mobile checkout recordings first before buying any tool. That in it self should show most likely immediately show you, of people are pinch zoomin on payment fields, or users are backin out at the address step, or the keyboards are covering CTAs etc. It can be responsive design issue based on devices. Point being, rool spend won't fix what's definitely a UX problem underneath. I'd look into this first before spending money on that stuff, is my advice.
