Hey all, I've been a TV Time user for a decade now and they just announced they're shutting down their servers in 2 weeks so I need to find a tv show tracking app to migrate my data to as soon as possible. - Letterboxd is not very good with TV shows. It lists every season as its own thing and I don't really like that - I tried to use Serializd but it's way too buggy - Preferably would love an app that also has a desktop site as well since I'm on my computer a lot - Needs to have an episode by episode tracking so I can see where I left off - if it has tabs like "Watch list" "To-Watch" "Watch Later" etc that would be a huge plus

You can try my app, cinematique (cinematique.me) — It tracks movies, TV, and anime. It already has a TV Time zip import built in, so you won't lose your history. You have until July 15 to export your data from TV Time before they delete everything. The app/website has no ads, no data selling, cloud sync for mobile+web, and social features. Android and web are live, iOS is on the way. Happy to answer any questions!
Thanks, I'll check out your app.
Thank you so much for the praise Erich! I'm glad you like it and stuck around for almost a year!
Of the ones I'm trying right now, Cinematique has a rewatch feature and it found all the shows and anime I had on TV Time
Yea, I keep trying others because people recommend them and say they are "the best", but nothing really comes close to SeriesGuide.
Another good news. Showly has been acquired by trakt, I hear.
First question, no. But you can change the date of when you watched it. Not sure about the community, but each episode has comments from users (from Trakt), and comments in general on a series and movies (from Trakt).
I'm not looking to make a streaming service. I just want a tracking app

Hello! I'll be sure to check it out, thanks for the rec
I recommend Showly , it uses Trakt to sync Showlyapp.com
Can I track if I watch something multiple times? Does it have a community like tv show ?
4 years ago, I'd recommend SeriesGuide too, but I'm no longer on Android and still haven't found a replacement
I've been using SeriesGuide for over a decade and it's excellent.
JustWatch Reelgood MovieParadise.app Emdb.com Refract Yamtrack watch-n-play.com Listal MyLists.info rate.house Tonkatsu Box Achriom OnTrack Some might have a web app, not a dedicated installable app.
Trakt.tv is all you need. You can log not just TV shows but films as well. Basically, anything on TVDB and TMDB is loggable.
I have been looking for alternative. Nothing seems to fit my specific need. I need the following specific features from the alternative: Must log rewatches in the profile stats. For example: I watched a 2hr movie once. Profile Movie Stats will have 2h. If i rewatch it 5 more times, it'll add 10 more hours in the profile movie stats. Same for tv episodes. Must have all movies, shows and animes. I am willing to sacrifice everything else. Comments, community, ratings and all. Thanks in advance. I'd be grateful to anyone with the perfect alternative.
Or you could launch your own app using Easycine
Thanks for the head's up! I loved TVTime and sorry to hear it's being sunset so quickly. I moved to Serializd but find it's not as UI friendly as TVTime was to me.
Been using Showly for years and love it. Unfortunately they have a 100 movie/show watchlist limit which I've hit lol, but that's a me problem. I need to watch more.
Showly app
I made the switch awhile ago from tv time to cinematique and haven't looked back since. The app really improves each version.
Cinopsys is awesome!!! And it has a beautiful AI! I highly recommend it!
Use Trakt for your main tracking, since it has a functioning website. Then choose an app that can be synced with their service, there are plenty out there. To me, the best ones are the already-mentioned Showly (download it from GitHub if you're not planning to buy the pro plan), TV Show & Movie Tracker Trakt by Jonathan Antoine (Google Play), and Cinopsys (Google Play). Sofa Time has just released a beta app for Android, so it should be available soon.
Use Cinopsys friend. Highly recommended it. It has Trakt and Simkl support.
