Small Shopify store here. I capture wholesale orders in Excel and just want to push them into Shopify as-is. Shopify imports products natively but not orders, so I’m stuck paying for Matrixify (or Altera) basically for one feature I use a couple times a month. For my own store it seems like it’d be a pretty simple internal app, custom app token, read the sheet, hit orderCreate, done. No OAuth, no app store. Has anyone actually built this? Even a scrappy CLI script would do. Mostly wondering how much of a pain the edge cases turned out to be (dupes on re-runs, not firing order confirmation emails, inventory getting decremented, API version bumps breaking it). That’s the part making me hesitate to just diy it. If someone’s got a repo or even a rough gist I’d love to see it. Otherwise might just build it myself and share.
