Best Sports Widget (Looking to Replace The Score)

I've used The Score app/widget for years on various Android phones and while it has progressively gotten worse, the current version has been unusable as a widget for a while. Nothing on the widget updates easily, can't switch between sports anymore without significant time/effort, it shows old info (like this morning, still showing scores from last night that i cant get updated to show today's games), and the only way to get any of it to update in real time (sometimes) is opening the app and then going back out to the widget screen. Which completely misses the point of a widget, of course. So, I'm wondering what other apps/widgets have the kind of functionality of The Score where you can see and switch between scores from multiple sports on the widget and easily click into a game when interested in following the action - like The Score used to work. I've seen a couple of apps that look promising but require a subscription to basically see the app work. And, I'm not sure if they have a widget. Any suggestions? US sports-focused mostly.
