Hi, I'm a runner and a cyclist. I record activities with my Coros watch (closed ecosystem, I've just applied to their app dev platform but I'm not expecting much), and I used to retrieve all my data through Strava (for which I have my own oauth app/client+webhooks). However it's now impossible to interact with the Strava API unless you fucking pay for it. So I'm looking for an alternative. I'm looking for a platform that can connect to Coros or Strava, that will let me retrieve data via API with no silly limitation. Bonus if I can set up webhooks to automatically trigger new activity download. I'm all ears for your advice :) Thank you.

Sounded neat at first but I just realised the 2 Runanalyze repos from that person are extremely confusing and disorganised. But that's definitely a good direction to explore. Thanks!

Not self hosted, but can connect to Strava and Coros: https://runalyze.com/ I just realize there is a fork on github: https://github.com/codeproducer198/Runalyze

So I spent some time having a look at Runalyzer. Can't find a single docker-compose template that worked and for a software that's already a few years old, I decided it wasn't worth it. I've just tried endurain and it surely looks great, but I'll face the same issue with it: I'd need a premium Strava subscription to use their API to download my own data. I'll think I'll code a daily scraper or something. This is ridiculous.

Maybe look into gadgetbridge if nothing else turns up. It might allow you to download your data right from the watches
