This post feels more like self-promotion than a neutral comparison, but I could be wrong. Anyway, here is my experience.
For most of my customers with fewer than 10 employees, Outlook’s built-in signature feature is usually enough. There is little reason to pay for a separate platform unless the company needs centralized control or changes signatures frequently.
For larger Microsoft 365 organizations, I have built a simple custom signature-management system using Microsoft Graph and employee directory data:
Microsoft Entra ID employee directory
↓
Microsoft Graph API
↓
Signature templates
↓
Department, location and job-title rules
↓
Outlook deployment
↓
IT manages future updates
The Python code behind it is honestly a little messy, but the overall system is not especially complicated. Once it is deployed, the IT team can manage employee details, templates, legal disclaimers, promotional banners and department-specific signatures.
A commercial service may make sense for a company without internal technical resources. However, when a company already has Microsoft 365 and an IT team, a custom solution can be much more flexible and may cost less over time.

Yes, you're right. With AI coding, some credits, and a few hours, you can get an acceptable system up and running to manage your team's email signatures. The real question is the long term.

Yes, I agree, a polished product much better than custom build solutions. The tricky part is integration, it’s very complicated to wire in any turn key product into corporation. They don’t trust anything.

I was reflecting on this earlier today—"self-promotion." Everything we do is self-promotion, in one way or another (all is marketing). Some people want fame, likes, or to increase karma. 😄 Others, like me, simply want to talk about their business.
