Has anyone found a good replacement for Stocky for landed costing? With Stocky being retired, I’m trying to figure out the best workflow going forward. We run a retail business with thousands of SKU’s and one of the biggest features we rely on is how Stocky handles landed costs. When creating a purchase order, I can add shipping, duties, exchange fees, etc., and once the PO is received, Stocky allocates those costs across the items in the order. It then updates the item cost to the landed cost, which syncs to Shopify and gives us much more accurate margins and reporting. I’ve been experimenting with Shopify’s built-in Purchase Orders, but unless I’m missing something, I can’t find a way to allocate those additional costs across the products. It seems to only track the vendor cost, not the true landed cost. Has anyone found a good workflow for this using Shopify’s native PO system? Or is there another app that handles landed costing well? One idea I’ve considered is calculating a landed cost percentage in Excel before importing the PO into Shopify, but I really like how Stocky keeps both the original vendor cost and the final landed cost visible. That makes it much easier to audit purchases and understand exactly where the costs came from. I’d love to hear what other retailers are doing, especially those importing inventory internationally.

I'm using an app called Katana MRP. Works well but expensive. Probably overkill if you're just doing retail and not any kind of manufacturing or assembly.
Check out Stockful, it’s incredibly powerful.
My wife owns a women’s boutique, and I have built a few apps/tools for her. My understanding is that “more is coming” from Shopify, but I don’t have specific details or dates. I imagine they are continuing to build out the native PO functionalities. I’ve considered building something myself, but I don’t want to sink a ton of time and energy into it only for Shopify to solve the problem.
I hit the same wall with landed costs. Most replacements don't handle it at all. I'm building VendFlow for Shopify POs with landed costs included. Still early but happy to show you if you're comparing options
Agreed. Stocky’s landed cost fields were useful for keeping purchasing and profitability reports accurate. With Stocky being discontinued, Shopify’s native purchase order features may not offer the same level of flexibility. For merchants looking for a similar workflow, Channel Bay supports purchase orders with discounts, taxes, exchange rates, shipping costs, and other landed cost components. These costs can be synced with Shopify for more accurate reporting and a clear cost breakdown. Vendor costs and additional landed costs can also be tracked separately when needed. Channel Bay offers a free plan on the Shopify App Store, and the team is open to supporting custom requirements.
