Anyone please suggest a voice note taker or a system that works for you.

At times I get cool ideas and thoughts but typing it down in my phone feels like a friction for the habit and also most of the times me getting the idea itself be In a situation where I can't take out a phone and Start type out a paragraph. Especially when I'm doing my day to day labour job. I just need a device which I want to be on me like pendant or a keychain and just be ready to record. And all the recordings must be saved with date and time if it allows me give a title or name for each notes a huge feature for me, and also suggest any apps or tools that would help to summarize the recordings to notes for me. Other than that I would look for atleast a week long enough of battery and storage. And for other thinkers out there is there any system you came up with that makes sure don't loose thoughts and ideas in time. Thank you.

This isn't a sexy solution, but I mapped my mute button to launch a new memo in the stock memo app on my iPhone. One button and it just starts recording. Later I go back to it and copy out the transcript it made. If it was a sloppy transcript, GPT or claude will fix it just fine.
What is it ? I searched it but couldn't find anything related?

Omg following I need this too
The category you are describing already exists. Plaud NotePin, Limitless Pendant, Bee, and Omi are some of the main options. Most of them automatically add timestamps. A week of standby is realistic, but a week of continuous recording usually is not. Storage is rarely a problem because recordings sync to your phone or cloud account. Before buying, check whether you can easily export both the original audio and a plain-text transcript. If you can, you are less dependent on the company’s subscription and can use ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini to create titles and summaries. Also, the mute-button trick that gio_pio mentioned is a clever free alternative if you do not strictly need a wearable.
For me it's the build-in Voice Recorder app on Android I have mapped to a gesture on my Galaxy. Just tap the screen twice in the middle and the app instantly opens and is ready to record. Timestamps and all. It can also do speach-to-text, though Inever used that featue. Really useful. I already carry my phone with me so having another single purpose device t9 thing about is the friction for me
Similar to another poster, my workflow is Voice Memo -> Copy Transcript -> Clean Up via Claude -> Put the end result somewhere (obsidian for ideas, todoist for to-dos, etc).
I use Scythe for this but it doesn’t have a physical pendant. It works fine for me. Thats a good idea though.
