is there anything i can use to just put images together simply?

So i downloaded a pack of modular png/webp assets for ttrpg mapmaking. each room or hallway i an individual image and ive been trying to look for anything that will just allow me to snap these images together in a non convoluted way and then export it as a combined image. Ive tried photoediting softwares like gimp but its a lot (for someone who dosent use editing softwares ever) to figure out just to snap some images together. any help would be super appreciated!
