I need help. I've been going down a rabbit hole trying to create better visual content for socials. I'm curious if I'm the only one in this pain. The hard part for me isn't writing the content. I just can't take a complex idea or data-heavy content and convert them into clean visuals. I want to create carousels and infographics. I keep juggling Nanobanana, Canva, PowerPoint, screenshots, spreadsheets and what not. Somehow it still feels like way more manual work. The first draft is fine. Getting it visually simple and engaging is my problem. For those of you who regularly create carousels or infographics using rich data, how do you do it without spending hours in hell? Is there any AI tool which has solved it already?

I hope that you know the difference from something from scratch via tool and something made with AI and reference.
Been there and tried doing it all alone with just AI but it’s not how things work. I’ll suggest either you learn actual tools for graphics or hire someone or an agency that does it for you. Because AI looks bad no matter how refined your prompt is most of the time.

Yeah, the time sink is usually the translation layer, not the first draft. What helped me was locking the process to one source doc, one repeatable carousel template, and forcing each slide to answer one question before I open Canva. If I’m still bouncing between screenshots, sheets, and decks, it usually means the idea isn’t reduced enough yet.
