App game for a grandmother

Im looking for an app game (free or paid) for my grandmother. She plays games on her tablet. She does not know how to read. So it cannot be something that has words in it. She is also hard of hearing. So sound can't be part of the game progression. Ads confuses her so preferably without ads or where i can pay to remove it. She also cannot easily drag. So preferably a game where she only needs to click. She also gives up very easily at any sign of difficulty. So no hard games. It'd be great if there were a hint preview button showing what the next steps are. Is there an app game that is always winnable and simple to play? Or maybe a game where she can follow instructions (no written instructions) to keep progressing? She played solitaire for years but gets frustrated when she loses (even though she wins more than she loses) and has started complaining, saying she wants an easier game. I think she's also bored of it having played for hours pretty much every day for years. Mahjong matching games has interested her. But most of those apps gets hard quick and she cannot win after a certain level and gives up quick and wants to delete the app. I've been trying to find something similar to mahjong matching where the levels don't get harder and there's no time limit but have not had much luck. The ideal game would be a matching game where she can match 2 tiles. Similar to a memory flipping game but all tiles are shown instead of having to memorize where the tiles are. No time limit. Slot games were a big negative. She hated seeing the money going down. She thought memory flipping, match 3 and jigsaw puzzle games were too hard. She did not enjoy coloring games. I've been looking into children/toddler app games but most of them involves dragging interactions or gets boring quick. Anyone have a game in mind?

Flow Free and its many variations might work for her. It's language-free, touch-based, and pretty engaging.
That's a bit harsh. Older people can definitely have issues with the current digital interfaces. What's being designed these days does not take into account an aging human body and mind.

I'd go for billiards or pétanque. Most of the games have lines that help you visualize the path the ball will go.
Ok, not sure if its a fit, but i made a small math app (for kids aged 3-7) which doesnt show any text to play it. Its basically just worksheets with 5 equations. There are different input methods like finger counting, dice, numbers wheel or numeric input. Its limited to 3 worksheets a day without the onetime premium, but there are no ads or other restrictions whatsoever. Also, yes, you can answer wrong, but at max, she gets less coins as reward. There is no "loosing". Could be a nice mental arithmetic exercise... Sudoku or picross (also called nono grams). Or you could look at a match 3 game. There's also search and find games. You'll probably have to pay to remove ads on these games. Sorry for not providing specific apps.
Hi. I'm also quite old (55+). Lately, I've also really enjoyed and prefer playing Mahjong Match Puzzles. I've put together a small collection of .apk versions of these games. I think Mahjong Zen, Mahjong Titan, Mahjong Blast, and Mahjong Epic are very good. Mahjong Epic even has several sets with different pictures, including letters of the Latin alphabet. But there are also games like Mancala. These aren't exactly puzzles in the traditional sense. The basic idea of the game is a little different, and these games are a little more complex and dynamic than Mahjong or Solitaire. Have you ever played Mancala yourself? Give it a try—look in the Market, find the first game with that name, try it, and judge whether it's too difficult to understand or not.

That's going to be a tough checklist to satisfy generically. It might be worth playing around with building a custom one for her using Claude, Codex, etc?
