I'm an overnight security guard, but I'm allowed to take naps. I just have to do patrols on certain hours and paperwork, but otherwise I can nap in the late (early?) hours of the AM. The main part of my job is having to be on-call if and when this walkie talkie goes off. It's how guests at my workplace can contact me during emergencies. Is there an app that alarms audibly to wake me up if it detects the walkie talkie is going off? The walkie talkie can either signal a panic alert (loud), or it beeps an indicator sound before they start talking on their end. It's a RelayX device.

Turn the volume up on your walkie? Why wouldnt the walkie wake you up?

There's a limit to how loud relays can get at 100, and a phone can be louder. Extra insurance doesn't hurt, and I'm sure I can be woken up by the relay by itself but I don't want to test it during a real emergency call

Clip it in your chest pocket or on your epaulette. I dont think there is going to be an app that does this. It would have to somehow be a walkie talkie itself or react to an audio cue, but determining that cue from say a cough or snore would be impossible.
