Best AI tools for creating PowerPoint slides in 2026? Tried four and I'm not sold on any of them yet

Context: I make around 6 to 8 decks a month, mix of internal and client facing. (not a designer, just founder's office) What I've tried so far and where each one lost me: A. Asking ChatGPT to write the content and pasting it into PowerPoint myself. Content is good, but I'm still doing all the layout, which eats time. B. 2 of the dedicated AI deck tools. Both generate something in under a minute that looks better than what I'd make. Both produce something that looks unmistakably like it came out of a tool once you've seen a few. C. Copilot in PowerPoint. Works on existing decks, less useful from a blank file. What I want is something that takes content I've already written, in a doc or in markdown, and produces the layout, and lets me keep our brand colours / theme. What's everyone using and works best? i feel like there’s a new AI tool coming out every week, but have no idea which one’s worth using.

is it? can you share ur workflow? wdyt abt using claude code with gamma mcp?
how much does that cost? wdyt abt gamma or plusdocs?
No idea my corp pays but I am sure not cheap…
Have you tried Claude directly inside of Powerpoint? You can also use both Codex and Claude to create google slides if PP is not required.
Copilot full corporate license is best so far in PowerPoint
This is such a good breakdown, I'm dealing with the same problem where the AI decks look nice for like the first three slides then get repetitive. Following this because I need something that keeps our branding without me manually fixing every layout after.
The AI deck generators are kinda middle-of-the-road as far as ngl goes; what I ended up going with was directly asking GPT for the outline/content and then using useai to generate the pptx file; much easier.
I have a free Google Pro plan, so I use Antigravity and tell it to make the ppt using pptxgenjs.
