Best AI for recalling ACCURATE details in a novel?
I listen to audiobooks. Sometimes I miss a detail and want to check on it quickly online, rather than re-listening to the last 30 minutes. It seems like half of the time when I ask chat gpt which character did a certain thing, it just completely fabricates…
I listen to audiobooks. Sometimes I miss a detail and want to check on it quickly online, rather than re-listening to the last 30 minutes. It seems like half of the time when I ask chat gpt which character did a certain thing, it just completely fabricates something and is 100% incorrect. At this rate, I'd be better off randomly guessing myself. I'll even look at the source of information for chatgpt and after skimming it for 5 seconds I can clearly see that it's reading comprehension is extremely poor. So, is there a better AI for this? Chat gpt clearly is not it.

I'm very curious to hear a more detailed explanation of this. Do I just have to tell chat gbt once and once only that I don't want it to hallucinate?
Bro, it literally cited a plot summary as a source but it had such poor reading comprehension that it couldn't process that information. It should be capable.
Is that different from just regular old Gemini AI? I've never heard of Gemini notebook.
Thanks but I was honestly just looking for a basic detail that is outlined in literally every short plot synopsis online. Chad GPT even cited a plot synopsis but did an extremely poor job with its own reading comprehension. I'm imagining I would have to pay for that project feature with Claude AI?
It's a Google offering that is used in tandem with Gemini. Essentially, Notebook is an AI that only knows the material you add to it. If you ask it a question that's not in the source material it doesn't make anything up but tells you that information is not in the sources. You can attach Notebooks to the regular Gemini which allows you to reference your sources directly in Gemini while using the standard AI strategies to connect outside information with the sources and your prompt.
Custom instructions are usually within the settings. Putting things like "do not guess, give me direct quotes from the text then summarize" this type of approach can force it to locate quotes from your interactions, then perform the requested ask.

Depends on your configuration of its settings. And if it allows configuration. For example I don't use ChatGPT without custom instructions which i reveloped exactly for that - accuracy, etc. And happy since version 4.
You create detailed instructions once and put them in Custom Instructions in Personalization in ChatGPT. But you probably would need to test them, modify them, test again, until you like the result.
Gemini Notebook
"Chatgpt" is a family of models, not a single one. Sol high is very accurate IME. It's my default for casual questions.
