Please recommend me a decent Beach Parasol make
Please help.... recommend me a parasol that won't fold in a breeze, won't leave the pointy bit in the ground when you pull it out, will actually cover a reasonable space as opposed to body or legs....etc. It's time to invest.

Come to any beach in the southeast US and you'll see why lots of folks have gotten a Shibumi. I havent had it long enough to call it BIFL, but so far holding up really well and I imagine it'll do better than a regular umbrella/tent due to less fixed parts. They're such a silly concept that I wish I had thought of myself.

Tommy Bahamas are pretty good. I was just vacationing in Greece and everyone has Maui & Sons silver umbrellas that looked pretty cool and they had this slide hammer mechanism for sticking it in the sand. But I saw one snap in high winds.
