This dryer connection is now leaking air. What system to buy to fix this given how little metal on the wall side there is?

This product or an aluminum elbow. Crimped end in to wall and secure with aluminum tape. If you want "perfect " 360⁰ seal around the joint, youll have to cut the trim board ( though i dont think you need to imo)
Why a 90 elbow? What benefit do you have in mind. Wouldn’t that increase air turbulence.
Sorry for not clarifying. The elbow has moving segments and can be made straight
