I’m looking into purchasing a pre-owned pc for gaming at a solid 1080-1440p at 60 fps. I’m currently looking at a pc that has i5 12600kf CPU, RTX 3070 GPU 8GB, MSI Pro 660 Motherboard, 16 GB DDR4 RAM, 500 GB M.2 SSD, 850 Watt 80+ Gold Rated Power Supply. It is listed at $600. From what I can tell from my limited research, it seems to be a pretty decent deal. Let me know your thoughts

Deal seems fine looks like the CPU and GPU alone would be around $400-$450. Just look up some benchmarks of people using that combo on games you want to play and make sure it gets the fps you want. 1080p should be more than fine just with 1440p you might have to knock some settings down.
I think it is better suited for 1080p due to ram and vram, but 60fps will be easily attainable. You also still have some upgrade options with 2 generations of cpus on that socket, but may be limited by the board. No tuning options for the cpu and probably not good enough for any I7 or I9 options due to limited VRMs. Don't know the ram speed, don't know the psu quality, and building yourself from a mix of new, open-box and pre-owned on eBay is only about $700-$750. If it were me, I might offer $500/550 for it first, but I don't feel like $600 is bad unless it has a bad PSU in it that isn't too old.
I'd go for it if it weren't in a cigarette smoking household.
