Just ordered an RTX 5080, is an ASUS TUF GAMING A620M-PLUS motherboard a good fit?

Is it okay or will I lose potential power with my motherboard?

The GPU won't care. The motherboard implies you have a lower power CPU though, which will influence performance.

I have a 7800x3D, does that affect anything?

It'll be fine then. Do you already have the motherboard? Keep it. If you're looking to buy this motherboard though go with a B850 board.

No issues.

You would still get the 75w that a pcie slot is supposed to have. It's just a GPU after all. I wouldn't call a bargain basement motherboard a good fit for such an expensive GPU however.
