I have all these overlay system apps on my phone that I've never noticed before. What are they? And how do I get rid of them? Com.motorola.android.overlay with endings such as launcher, config, core settings ext, call redirect, networkstack.mcc460, etc. Are these safe? Cause I've heard overlay apps are some sort of hacker malware....

Those are normal Motorola system packages, not malware. The "overlay" in their names refers to Android's Runtime Resource Overlay (RRO) system, which manufacturers use to customize Android for different devices, regions, carriers, and features. They're safe to leave alone, and removing or disabling them can cause parts of the system to stop working correctly.
