Fences vs. Shortcutty vs. Deskepty - which one is best for a clean minimal setup?

Hey guys, I have been looking for a launcher/organizer and narrowed it down to three, but am completely stuck on which one to pick: Fences: seems like the classic option that a lot of people recommend, but am not sure if it feels a bit bloated or outdated now compared to modern alternatives. Shortcutty: found this one on steam, it uses tabs and groups to organize shortcuts, it looks clean and lightweight. Deskepty: found this on the microsoft store recently, its also same as shortcutty its a hidden panel that slides out. I dont mind paying for software as long as its worth it, but my priority is something fast, minimal and lightweight (no bloat or background hogging). am leaning toward Shortcutty and Deskepty mainly because of the hidden panel workflow, but since they seem newer, part of me wonders if sticking with a well known tool like Fences is safer. Anyone here tried these or have any recommendations?

If you have a mouse with a thumb button or don't mind using a keyboard shortcut, try Kando. Launcher brings up a radial menu where your mouse cursor is. Mapping it to the thumb button was a personal game changer for me as I can launch apps with just one hand while keeping a clean setup. https://github.com/kando-menu/kando As a second pick, I'd recommend Microsoft PowerToys, particularly the Command Palette and enabling the Dock which adds a thin dock above the taskbar which you can reposition. It's just unfortunately buggy for multi-monitor setups.
Came here to say exactly this. Fences, Dopus, Everything, StartAllback, Command Palette, Dexpot.
Been using Fences for about 10 years now and consider it to be a must for any new system I build. That said, I believe Portals or Desk Frame are good alternatives I’ve seen posted before, but have no direct experience of them to make a recommendation.
none of above, for a minimalist setup, use flow launcher + hide desktop icons + hide taskbar.
can someone enlighten me what is fences , shortcutty and deskepty is ..?
