Hello everyone, I have a Mitsubishi Montero Sport LS 2000. I recently got it just for camping purposes and weekend get away, so I don’t drive by daily. The last couple of times I’ve went up to the mountains I noticed that when I’m going uphill my temperature gauge shows that the car is slightly (a little bit above the half way point). But when I drive on the freeway or on even roads the car temp is fine. Then I noticed when the car is stationary and idling on the stop light, it starts over heating as well. I’ve tried bleeding the system because I thought there’s air in the system but it doesn’t help. Any ideas on what it could be? Could it be a bad water pump or thermostat housing?
