Keypad replacement
My partner and I are closing on a house in a few weeks. The front door has a keypad lock as well as physical keys. Is it sufficient to just reset the keypad with a new access code, or is it better to replace the entire keypad?

I personally would not trust a keypad that did not install anywhere that gives access to my home.
Resetting the code is fine security wise if it's the same working hardware, but I'd rekey the physical lock cylinder too since you have no idea how many spare keys are floating around from previous owners

Replace it all. The default code that came with the manual often cannot be reset
If the key pad is "WIFI" then any crook can access your house, AND all your personal data on your computers that share that wifi... That would suck, coming home to an empty house, AND an empty bank/retirement account.
I just took the batteries out and pretend like there's no keypad.
