ill just ask straight up, are there any services that help businesses with marketing and sales? i dont have money to hire so i was wondering if my emails, bookings, and social media account can be managed. preferably low cost which i know is hard to find but that would be a life changer EDIT: i forgot to mention this but i am a barber with 2 shops. Also thank you all for helping me out. I looked into the comments and they seem pretty ai oriented. i am a bit afraid of ai and what it can do to my clients and business but if it does the job then i am open to using it. i saw calendly and it is pretty good for appointments. then searched up brevo for emails but i coundnt even login. If you guys have any recommendations please let me know. thank you

im a barber with 2 shops so far. forgot to mention that. bookings and social media are a must
im on the same page as you lol. let me know if you find anything. so far i found highlevel, calendly, brevo for emails. i dont recommend brevo, i cant even login
alright im going to research do you have any automating services in mind? im a barber with 2 shops
i do walk-ins and appointments through call for my barbershops, most of the time i hand write on a notebook. for social media i would appreciate data of how the videos i post on instagram and tiktok are doing and even ads in an all in one service if possible. I really want to handle customers without those issues. saves me a ton
I would start very small with automation using a tool like Claude. I have listed a few use cases that you could consider automating. Once you automate these I would consider more advanced use cases where you integrate outbound channels or consumer channels to further automate things. Happy to help if you have any more questions. Saves time Weekly ops review - drop in your booking export, get chair utilisation, no-show rate and dead hours per shop. Replaces the spreadsheet night. Rota from demand - forecast footfall by hour and day from booking history, staff to it instead of habit. Stock check - track consumables usage, flag what to reorder before you run out. Grows revenue Win-back list - flag clients past their usual cut cycle, get a personalised SMS drafted for each. Paste and send. Review replies - paste your Google reviews, get replies in your voice in one go. Content batch - a month of Instagram and TikTok content planning. I'm sure that many more use cases you can think of, any particular pain areas that you currently consider.
What kind of business is it, and can you be more specific about the things you're looking to do? Marketing and sales alone are very broad and can mean drastically different things for different businesses, markets, and even people since all of us have our strengths and weaknesses.
Totally doable on a budget. For email there's Brevo, for bookings Calendly has a solid free tier, and for social media scheduling I'm one of the founders of SocialBu so take this with a grain of salt, but it's built exactly for this kind of thing and won't break the bank. None of these require hiring anyone.
Before spending on marketing services, it's worth being clear on what you're actually trying to grow — revenue, bookings, repeat customers? The answer changes what's worth your time. For the tools side on a tight budget: Brevo for email (generous free tier), Calendly for bookings (free works for most small businesses), and for social media scheduling Buffer has a free plan that covers the basics. The honest truth on "managed" social media: most low-cost services post generic content that doesn't convert. You're usually better off posting yourself 3x a week with real behind-the-scenes content — it builds more trust than polished filler. One thing that's easy to overlook at this stage: do you have any visibility into which channel is actually bringing in customers? Even a basic tracking sheet makes a big difference before you start spending more time or money on any one thing.
Lol this sub is non-self-promotional and you asked a question just BEGGING for self-promotion. There are general things you can do without hiring, and things you can use SAAS for - so like email, boookings, SM management (not content creation), can all be managed in diff softwares, I personally like Highlevel, it's a custom solution for businesses, but that also means it can be a trick to set up. Once set up though, it can seriously alleviate admin & marketing in a business - plus it's all in one place, so less distraction. I did all the other freebies for a while, & it's just not great trying to coordinate a CRM with a seperate booking calendars and seperate emails etc. Highlevel consolidates that, plus they have 24/7 support. $99 per month is honestly a steal for what they have. If you have a website, check it's SEO level - it's a long game, but it'll bring in leads if you set it up right. If you have a google business profile - pull in the good reviews, start ranking on google = more leads Social media - try regular posting of your business, you can chatGPT ideas for short vids, consistency is key. 4x per week is a great start, 3x per day will bring growth in 2-3 months (not easy, but who said it'd be easy to start a business?) You can also hire commission-based sales-people so it's not out-of-pocket till it's paid for, or get an AI voice agent/receptionist to recieve calls/do outbound to people who've agreed to be called. Plug the leaks in the business - if you're missing any calls or texts, either don't, or set up missed-call text-back or callback systems (you can automate this or use AI). Figure out where the majority of your customers are coming from, and push that avenue harder - referrals? Set up referral bonuses/systems. Ads? Increase ads, increase the LTV, increase upsells & downsells that legit help the customer & make sense, (adding value as the goal). Once you plug leaks, create a system, and get the foundation strong, then growing becomes a heck of a lot easier. Good luck!
I've had the same issue help pls. I have a product but cant repeatedly sell without breaking the bank, i've tried Artisan the purple lady and got nowhere.
Without knowing too much of the details, have you considered automating parts of this? It sounds like your emails, bookings, and schedule managing probably are a guzzler in terms of manual effort. I have known and helped multiple smaller businesses and solopreneurs automate these processes to a larger extent so it frees up your time. Is this the pain area that you're grappling with?
