I'd love some help deciding where to invest around 2 thousand reais to improve my PC. I know it's a low budget, but it's what I have right now, so I want to make the most of every real. I use it for work (lots of programs open at once) and for playing current titles at 1080p. Right now I play a lot of Wuthering Waves and I really want to run it on high or ultra settings. Current setup: - Ryzen 5 5500 - RX 6600 8GB - MSI B550M-A PRO motherboard (AM4) - 16GB DDR4 - SATA SSD (Windows) + HDD for files - Small case (micro-ATX) I'm thinking about swapping the 5500 for a 5700X (or 5700X3D) and bumping the RAM to 32GB, though I know DDR4 is pricey right now. I'd leave the GPU for later. Questions: With 2 thousand reais, what's the best way to split the money? CPU + RAM, or a different priority? Is the 5700X3D worth it, or does the 5700X already handle my use case? To run Wuthering Waves on high/ultra at 1080p, what's holding me back more right now: the CPU or the RX 6600? Will I need to change the power supply or the case for any of these upgrades?

I would go all in on the 5700x3d IF you prioritize gaming, because you specifically mentioned a cpu intensive game and you said would be playing at 1080p. Going to 32gb will bring you no noticeable performance boost although it is recommended. I don’t know the exact pricing in your region but im assuming the x3d is around 300usd And no, you likely don’t need to change the psu, can you give me the name of the model you’re using right now? Alternatively since you did say you run a lot of programs at once, 5700x and an additional 16gb would benefit you best overall. But you might need to sell the 5500 to squeeze everything in.
If you can buy the 5500x3d buy it, it's very good and doesn't cost an arm and a leg. At the same time you want to buy a new GPU, if you can find 9060xt 16gb it's ok, if not buy used 3070. Do not buy 5060 or 5060ti, with your motherboard they would not perform st their maximum
