Ya I went fisher paykel because of the compressor reviews for the other brands. Keep your ice in the freezer area people! Don't have an ice dispenser in the door, you're always having the fridge fight itself for humidity and temperature in the corner until parts burn out if you have ice in the fridge zone. Have fridge stuff and freezer stuff, mixing kills the fridge fast. A lot of fridges do this today, look for separated ones. My fridge dispenses water but the ice is in the freezer below to scoop into the cup. At least the zones aren't fighting each other.

Hum type sound. Pretty much like a normal fridge noise but louder. Almost doubted myself there was anything wrong, and just thought I hadn't been around it in over a week and didn't remember how loud it was.

We have moved all of our food into the cheap garage fridge that or course never fails.

Depends what kind of loud noise your hearing. Grinding/rapid rattleing is ice stuck in fan. Loud humming is typically a failing compressor, could be caused by non-working evap fan(stuck with ice) or non working condenser fan. You can remove the rear control panel and it should have a red light. If the light is solid the fridge isn't detecting an issue. Could be a bad thermistor (thermostat) reading wrong values, could also be a bad control board, not receiving the proper signal from your thermostat.
Have you ever actually dealt with Samsung for warranty on a fridge? I have, and my only complaint is they wouldn't just send me the little piece of plastic that stops the door from bouncing open when it's closed that broke for me to install myself; instead they sent a brand new fridge and picked up my old one with less than 1 week left on warranty. I can't say I have experienced what you're talking about at all.
Did you buy it from repair shop or a actual store ?
Can you return it? Samsung sucks. Our ice maker never really made ice. We were lucky to get a cup a day. Service tech came out at least 5 times to fix it—nothings changed. Samsung isn’t worth it.
Unfortunately it’s a Samsung. Not known for longevity. It’s known for cheap price. Good news it’s under warranty. Hopefully it’s compressor and you’ll get a refund for another brand
Looks like a Bespoke. You've been got by Samsung. Try to work through the warranty, but I hope you have a spare fridge in the meantime because it will likely take quite some time to be repaired, if it even can be repaired. You willingly bought a Samsung refrigerator? I think I see your issue. The only things you should buy that are Samsung branded are phones, tv's, and microwaves (because Samsung doesn't make the microwaves, they just buy the parts and slap their name on them. This was what a repair shop told me)

I've got a Kenmore made by Frigidaire that over 15 years old and a whirlpool that's over 10 ..not sure if anything made today would last as long..but I'd probably try to buy something similar if I had to..I sold appliances for decades Samsung has been junk for as long as I can remember...I know for a fact LG and Samsung were the most requested repaired appliances we had.
Interesting to see they still haven’t figured it out. I had one Samsung refrigerator and decided never again will I get a Samsung appliance. This was maybe 10 years ago I had issues with mine icing up and not auto-defrosting properly… and the icemaker just not working. I got an LG fridge and haven’t looked back. So far, no issues *knocks on wood* I know I would be an idiot to expect this thing to hold up long term, but if I can get a rather uneventful 7-10 years out of it, I’ll be happy. Maybe by then I’ll have the kind of dough it takes to drop on a real appliance that isn’t disposable
