Hello everyone. I am running ads for a company providing managed data extraction services with the best in industry quality, for real. Data for AI is our biggest group of target companies now apart from HCP. I have been running search ads but with no leads. LinkedIn ABM - Company based targetting with single image ads - can only get engagement. Nothing more. Any strategic suggestions? Note: cleaning up search terms often cause it shoots wrong often and pivoting my targetting and match types based on that. Monitoring rb2b visitors to understand the quality of visitors so far.

Your targeting might be too narrow if you're filtering out everything that doesn't look perfect. Sometimes the companies that need data extraction services search in weird ways you wouldn't expect. What's your landing page situation? Engagement on LinkedIn but no conversions usually means the ad is doing its job but the page after isn't. Check if the message matches between ad and landing page. RB2B data is good but it can be misleading sometimes because not every visitor that shows up there is actually a decision maker. Have you tried running a small retargeting campaign just for those visitors?
Definitely not looking for perfection. Only removing absolutely no intent keyterms like ai tools, random ai company names etc Landing Pages are being updated as we speak. It does a good job as we get leads from outbound. From organic (generative engines)as well. Just not from ads It's better to turn off linkedin audience network right? Cause 90% of my spend goes towards that rather than "on LinkedIn". Messages match for sure. Yes retargetting is on, but not running yet cause the audience is too small to serve at the moment. Just wondering if I should shift to LinkedIn Inmail, message ads for ABM + Retargetting & lookalikes for Singe image ads once I gather enough data ofcourse
engagement with no conversions on linkedin abm (thats company level targeting, showing ads to people at specific target accounts instead of just any random job title) almost always means the ad and the landing page are solving two different problems in the persons head. the ad probably grabs attention with something broad like "best in industry data quality" but then the landing page has to answer a much more specific question the second they land, like what exactly counts as messy data for their use case and how fast you can turn it around, if that gap exists people click, skim, and bounce without converting, which looks exactly like what youre describing. for the ai niche specifically id get way more specific in the message than "best in industry quality", these buyers have all been burned by messy training data before so vague quality claims dont register anymore, something concrete like the actual error rate you catch, or a before/after example of raw vs cleaned data, will do more than another quality claim ever will. on retargeting the rb2b visitors (thats the tool that tells you which companies visited your site even if they didnt fill out a form), i'd treat that list separately from your cold campaigns entirely, those are people whove already seen you once, so hit them with the specific proof/example content instead of the same broad awareness message youre running cold, warm audiences convert on specificity way more than cold ones do.
