Is the Gigabyte C103 a good airflow case, or should I choose something else? Would you choose a different SSD? Is Ryzen 5 7600 still the best CPU in this budget? If DDR5 RAM prices stay crazy, would you start with 16GB and upgrade later, or wait? If corsair vengance is a good brand for ram or should i consider other brands. I'm trying to build something that will last 5–7 years, with future upgrades in mind.

It will probably blow your budget but if you want it to last 5-7 years I would get a 9060XT 16GB and consider a 7700X3D. I personally think 32" 1440p monitors are worth the extra money but depends how strict your budget is. 16GB RAM is fine for now if that's all you can afford. Corsair Vengeance is a popular brand so it shouldn't be hard to find a matching stick later on if you upgrade.

Thanks! My budget is around ₹1L–1.2L, so the 9060 XT + 7700X3D would probably be a bit out of reach. If you had to cut costs, what would you change first while still keeping the build relevant for the next 5–7 years? Also, would you prioritize a better GPU over a better CPU for AutoCAD + gaming?
Memory is the obvious choice to cut costs because it's so expensive and easy to upgrade later. https://mdcomputers.in/product/patriot-ram-viper-venom-16gb-pvv516g60c30/ram/ddr5-ram At this retailer it's actually cheaper to buy two 16GB sticks than a 32GB 2x16GB kit. You could build it with 16GB, test it with 20 Chrome tabs and some 3D AutoCAD work and see how it goes. This is roughly what I would build to cut costs. Ryzen 7500F (includes cooler) - This will save you the money to get a 16GB GPU. You have the option to upgrade later on to a 9800X3D or similar. 16GB 6000MHz RAM RX9060 XT or 5060Ti 16GB Barebones B650/B850 motherboard (not B840) - You don't need anything premium but four RAM slots might be nice to have. - B840 doesn't support X3D CPUs. 1TB SSD - Even a SATA drive would be fine. You can add another one later and even migrate your Windows install and all your files/games. 650W PSU - A Bronze non modular unit would save you a bit. 27" (or 32" if you can afford it) 1440p monitor - I don't mind VA screens, but maybe you need IPS for AutoCAD. I put together basically the cheapest possible build from one site (excluding monitor). At ₹1.23L it might be hard to stick to your budget but maybe you can get better prices elsewhere. get the 7500f. its a 7600 without the igpu that you dont need anyway with a dgpu. better bang for buck unless they are the same price. but you are using this for cad. more cores is better so maybe r5 7700 maybe. 8gb is lacking for 1440p. 12gb is minimum. the 16g of a 4060 ti or a 4070 would be fine. prices are fucked though. a budget build is around 1000 dollars now.
ddr5 is only going up. Get 16gb now as u cant fit 32 in ur budget rn, but get another 16gb asap. For autocad, it slightly favours nvidia and revit has more comaptiblity. I would recommend getting a 5060. and going 1080p. Grand total of ₹123022. 7500F is only slightly slower than the 7600X (around 5%) while being 17% less expensive. The motherboard is fine, it also has a pcie 5.0 slot compared to 4.0 on the b650m-a wifi, and is cheap. The SSD is good and cheap, it has DRAM which gives it an advantage. The GPU is basically identical in performance to the 4060 Ti 8GB while being cheaper new, also newer in architecture and features. The power supply is very high quality. The monitor is very good for the price.
