What upgrade path to take?

My current setup: CPU: Intel i7-9700 Motherboard: MSI Z390-A PRO RAM: 16 GB DDR4 3200 MHz PSU: be quiet! Straight Power 11 750W Gold GPU: RX 9070 XT (currently using an RTX 2080 Super, but I'm upgrading) Storage: 2 SATA SSDs and 1 NVMe SSD Other: 3 case fans With the new GPU, I'll generally be CPU bottlenecked, and possibly RAM bottlenecked as well, so I'm wondering what the best upgrade path would be. I'm torn between a few options: 1) Move to AM5 with a Ryzen 7 7800X3D This would require a new motherboard, new DDR5 RAM (probably 16 GB for now), and likely a new CPU cooler. I think I've lost the mounting brackets for my current cooler, and I'm not even sure it supports AM5. This is by far the most expensive option, but it also offers the best performance and everything would be brand new. I can definitely afford a €1,000+ upgrade, but with current RAM prices, I feel like I'd be overpaying. 2) Move to AM4 with a Ryzen 7 5700X3D This would require a new motherboard and possibly a new CPU cooler, but I'd be able to keep my current DDR4 RAM. The CPU and motherboard would most likely be second-hand, and I'm personally a bit hesitant about buying used hardware. Around here, a 5700X3D alone goes for over €300. Once I add a motherboard and cooler, the total gets close to €500. 3) Stay on LGA1151 Upgrade to a slightly better CPU and increase my RAM to 32 GB. I'm not sure the CPU upgrade would be worth it. For example, an i9-9900K still costs over €200 used, and another 16 GB of DDR4 is around €150. That puts the total at roughly €350+, which seems like a lot for such a small performance gain. 4) Something else? What would you pick? Which option do you think offers the best value, considering the rest of my system?

i dont really know about the other options u listed, but i was in a similar situation back in the day, and went witha b660m and a 13600kf, no regrets so far. (purely gaming)

My target is 1440p at 120 FPS. The games I want to play include Cyberpunk 2077, DOOM Eternal, DOOM: The Dark Ages, the newer Spider-Man games, Space Marine 2.
The price is about the same as my second option. There are far fewer 13600K and 14600K CPUs available in my area, and even on eBay they usually end up costing around €200–250 after shipping. Also, didn't Intel's 13th- and 14th-generation CPUs have issues with degrading or failing over time?
yeah, this means the gpu will do most of the work, i would go am4, any cpu above 5600x. another 16gb stick preferably the same model as the one you already have. you can get the x3d but dont expect too much from it
most degrading happen with i7 and i9 cause their TDP are set way pass the intel limit. i5 is not affected much. if intel is hard to find then stay with AM4. just don't buy new, find good deal in second hand market.
go the am4 x3d route only if u find a used pc at a good price, not worth it new
How badly bottle-necked are you? I'd be tempted just to wait it out a couple of years.
id go with either option 1 or 2, what games are you playing and what resolution?
I agree with the comment above, check second hand market for a ddr4 660/760 board, and a 13600K/14600K, if its more expensive than the 5700X3D then get the AMD instead.
go am5 with a 7500f or 7600 and a beefy cooler upgrade cpu later if needed. for 1440p 120fps that should suffice understand that 7500f is 5700x3d and 7600 is 5800x3d or very similar in terms of performance 7500f with some oc can get to 7600/x lever performance
if money's not a problem, then go option 1 , but if not , go option 2 , don’t go option 3 ever , it's still a dead platform and it will bottleneck your gpu.
