I’m mainly looking to fill any gaps or make my current setup any better. Also interest in a travel cc but maybe a cashback card is better for my use case since I’d be spending only around $1.5k per year (maybe more with prices these days) give or take traveling to the DR. Any advice/tips is greatly appreciated! With only around $1.5k a year in travel spend, I’d probably prioritize cash back over adding an annual-fee travel card. Your current cards already cover several major categories, so the main gap looks like a flat-rate card for vet bills, gym, and miscellaneous spending. I’d only add a travel card if the benefits match expenses you already have.
I see, are there any flat-rate cards you’d recommend me?

Totally agree on prioritizing cash back, though the one place a travel card could theoretically make some sense is a mid-tier like CSP where the annual fee is effectively negated by the $100 annual hotel credit. I would be thinking about it from the standpoint of getting the upside of all the travel protections (and the sign up bonus). Probably a stretch with their travel spend because they would need to #1 actually use it on a hotel every year to actually negate the fee and #2 sometimes do things like rent a car to see the benefit of the protections.
