Since you are not going to game too much, I would recommend this deal Acer Aspire Go** because it comes with : Specs: Screen: 14" WUXGA CPU : Core Ultra 7 Ram : 16GB LPDDR4X Storage : 1TB SSD And I have recommended this because of Long battery life . Powerful CPU for General purpose, school, and light gaming . Great value for money. Lightweight . So, acer was actually one of the laptops I was looking at. However, I hear the general quality of them is not great? It seems like a lot of people have problems very soon after getting this laptop. Have you heard anything about this?
yes, some models have some corners cut to make up for the great value for money, I have hd acer nitro 5 for 8 years with no issues, when I upgraded to acer swift x, within the 2nd year issues start to pper. up to u to decide whether those known issues is something you can handle or no.
For general use in this price range I would advise you to check this laptop laptop name Acer Aspire CPU Intel Core Ultra 7 Processor Screen " 14"" Full HD IPS" Ram 16 GB SSD 1 TB HDD 0 Weight 3.88 Lbs. Battery life 9.5 Hrs. Pros Great battery life. Pros The CPU is very good. Pros Has 16GB of ram. hey, you should 100% look at the ASUS TUF Gaming A15 which has Ryzen 9 8945HS, RTX 4060, 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD. It's priced at $951.18 at the moment and it'll honestly laugh at your current laptop's "can't watch YouTube" problem. It'll be way more than enough for streaming and school stuff so you'll have plenty of headroom for whatever else comes up in the future. It'll also run light gaming absolutely fine, I haven't dug into Palia's specific requirements but I'm sure it'll handle it fine. Still is worth looking at. Battery should also carry you through a full day of mixed use too. Only potential issue is that it's not crazy good value for money as you are paying for a powerful GPU here. you can check out some further info and spec here: https://plample.com/spec/us/asus-tuf-gaming-a15-fa507-2024/43 (disclosure: I built the site that generated this match and I would receive an affiliate fee if you were to buy it through one of the links on my site at no extra cost to you)
