Hi everyone, I'm from India and my budget is ₹20,000–25,000. I can only afford a second-hand/refurbished laptop. My goal is to learn: Python C/C++ Data Structures & Algorithms Web Development Machine Learning AI basics Git/GitHub Linux VS Code, Jupyter Notebook, Docker (if possible) I know this budget won't get me a powerful machine, so I'm looking for the best value that can last me 2–3 years for learning. A few questions: Which used laptop models would you recommend in this budget? What minimum CPU generation should I buy (Intel or AMD)? Is 16GB RAM mandatory, or can I start with 8GB and upgrade later? How much SSD storage is enough? Which brands/models should I avoid? What should I check before buying a used laptop? Would you recommend a ThinkPad, Dell Latitude, or HP EliteBook? If you were in my situation, which exact model would you buy and why? Thanks in advance!

I'm actually searching for a laptop with the same requirements since I need it for studies. Is it even possible to get a brand new laptop in 30k in India? With good specs

Try for dell latitude 5420 or thinkpad l14 gen 2 ( the heavy work would be needed to be done on cloud as no one is doing ai/ml work offline ) with i5/7 11th gen they are good and long lasting laptops just buy 16gb as 8 gb is bad even the worst of the laptops and you won't be able to afford 8k for 8gb ram stick They will do 80 to 90% of your work fine
