Hello! Im 21F, sorry this post is long im asking a bunchhh of questions about various different things I need help with, likely all basic, so I apologize, please dont think im gross, im learning lol. But please be warned! Tldr- asking about skincare, shaving, product recommendations, bodycare, specific skin problems im having, routine advice, scar treatment advice vaugely, kind of a mega thread of everything ive been wondering because I genuinely do not know where to begin. im trying to learn as much as I can and am looking for very detailed advice from anyone willing to take the time, or just being pointed in the right direction to other posts that could help, ^^- I dont know much, if anything about skincare this will be my first skincare routine. I dont mind alot of products or anything but I cant afford high end right now sadly so anything from amazon/walmart type places are kind of more what im hoping I can find stuff at (ᵕ • ᴗ •) Also! cruelty free products would also be highly appreciated (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶) But ill say what im trying to achieve first before anything is to build a solid, clear routine I can stick to everyday :]. My long term goal is as close as I can get to porcelain/glass skin, very clear and dollish is my goal with as little texture as possible all around and also reducing scarring/stretchmarks and skin imperfections on my body aswell and learning a proper routine to care for myself, I wasn't ever taught and im depressive and need structure and routine to follow, which I have a hard time creating and learning about- so I prefer to ask real people for real advice :] These are my general questions about everything, and then after are the problems ive been having with my skin that I would like to clear with a routine ^^ What are the basic things I need? (Like moisturizer, sunscreen, cleanser?) What are good products to target my skin problems on my face and body? What order would I apply said products? (😭 im sorry) What should I use in the morning versus at night? What would be every other day versus everyday? What am I doing wrong in my routine and what should be fixed/changed/added? So, ill start with face stuff. I have combination skin, oily around my nose and chin, okay around the sides of my face and forehead but very dry on the sides of my mouth and inbetween my eyebrows. I also have, I believe are closed comedones all over my forehead and on the sides of my face like my cheekbones and temples, I do get zits on my cheeks occasionally but im not really prone to large acne breakouts, but the zits I get if I pick at my skin or dont clean it. Like tiny whiteheads on my chin, forehead or beside my nose. Everything else I believe on my face is mostly just the closed comedones and also blackheads and sebaceous filaments. Those are also mostly again lol, on my forehead too (mostly like above/around my eyebrows and inbetween my brows), chin, nose and beside my nose. My face looks clear from a distance it's just getting closer that you can see the texture on my face, I get a little red on my chin and beside my nose if I mess with them or theres the occasional really bad zit. — I currently only use Cerave renewing SA cleanser and Cerave hydrating facial cleanser at night. Theres no structure to that so often I forget and wash my face in the shower, (im working on showering daily as well, because I often dont) But sometimes I do it for a couple days in a row, they do make my skin feel cleaner. I do use an eyebrow razor to shave my eyebrows and my mustache, im not sure whats better but I really dislike facial hair. I have seen girls who shave their entire face to get rid of peach fuzz and dead skin, is that actually helpful? Do alot of women do that to keep soft skin? For my body— okay, so currently I epilate my lower legs, my arms and stomach. I am a very hairy girl, im pale with very dark hair everywhere and its not small hairs either they're very visible. It does great on my arms and belly, and I have genuinely noticed my hair thinning out, but even as it's thinning im still getting alottt of ingrowns below my knees. It irritates my skin alot and gives me strawberry legs and doesn't leave my skin smooth on my legs or arms even if there's no hair there. For showering I use an african net sponge I got off amazon and just native body wash, when I remember or before I shave I use the crumbl cookie sugar scrub and that's it. Sometimes I put on hand lotion if I want to smell good lol, but on the sides of my thighs and the backs of my arms I have KP, sometimes they get little white heads I pop but I genuinely dont shave past my knees or elbows they're just always there. I do really like my epilator, but I fear I lack the knowledge on how to not wreck my skin in the process lol. I do have some scarring and stretch marks, I just generally wanted to ask if anyone had any good experience with scar tape/cream on older raised scars, or good ways to lessen/get rid of (if it's possible) stretch marks aswell. Mine are all old and white, so im not sure if something can be done about them but I thought I might aswell ask ^^ Anyways! im sorry if anything is confusing please ask, I hope I got everything though and it's not a bunch of nonsense. Again, thanks for reading if you did and any help is majorly appreciated! ദ്ദി ( ᵔ ᗜ ᵔ )

Amlactin for KP. Adapalene/epiduo for breakouts, and a barrier supporting routine with no other actives otherwise. Except SPF.
