Hi! Just wondering: use AHA 2-3 days per week… you don’t moisturize after that product has dried? Only moisturize on AHA off-days? (I’m so new to skincare)

The AmLactin is a lotion that contains both Lactic Acid (AHA) and moistuization. It's not an AHA serum (liquid) product. With a product like AmLactin, there's no need to use 2 separate products. But, I suppose if you have an AHA serum, then yes, apply that first, then apply a regular lotion or cream over it. But AmLactin is an effective product and so why not just buy one product instead of 2? For OP I suggested the use of AHAs for 2-3 times per week because their condition is so mild. Someone with a severe case of KP might need to use AHA more frequently or use a product with a higher percentage of AHAs in it.

This could be a very mild case of Keratosis Pilaris (KP), which tends to occur most frequently on legs and upper arms. There are many products you can use for this -- some even say they're for KP in the name. But because yours is so mild, take caution and don't use anything too aggressive. The key to improvement is both exfoliating with AHAs (like lactic acid or mandelic acid) and hydration/moisturization. I would recommend that you use a lotion called AmLacticin Daily Nourish Lotion. It has 12% lactic acid, which is their most gentle product. It's found at most drugstores, Target, etc. Apply this 2 to 3 days per week, ideally right after showering. Then, on the other 4-5 days per week apply just a regular body lotion (fragrance-free) to the parts of your body that have this. It is really important to keep these parts of your body moisturized. People with KP tend to have it for life, so it's something that needs to be managed ongoing. If you stop exfoliating and moisturizing, it will come back.

get some urea cream, it's the best and only fix I know

Here's what I do. 2x a week, I use Cerave SA body wash on my legs. Leave it on for 5 min before washing off. Always use urea cream as a moisturizer afterwards. 2x/week, I spray glycolic acid on my legs (The Ordinary brand). Also, switch to a single blade razor if you shave.
