QB Desktop, which expense apps actually connect without an extra fee

We run QuickBooks Desktop and arent moving to online, dont @ me lol. Problem is every expense app i look at either assumes youre on QBO or wants an extra fee just to connect to Desktop. All i want is my guys snapping receipts and having it land in Desktop without me hand keying the whole lot at month end. Found an older thread on here asking basically the same thing but its from last year and nothing in it panned out. So anyone on Desktop actually solved this? whats connecting for you without the surcharge
