Claude + Tablet instead of Skylight Calendar?
Hey folks, I am into back to school mode and looking for ways I can improve our family's flow. Skylight calendar looks perfect for my needs, but the software seems like something I could easily replicate on Claude and run on a cheap tablet. Has anyone tried…

Yes, just did it this weekend. Used an old Microsoft surface pro (laptop with detachable keyboard). Claude code did it in a couple of hours: calendar, chores for kids, grocery list (kids can add with their voice), add meals per day, weather. Ai did it all.
How do you keep it updated with chores, meals, etc? Can you add it directly from the surface pro? Or from Claude?
Chores are just rotated per kid... once one kid is done w/ it, they hit the button on the screen and it advances to the next kid. There is also a chores tab at the bottom for other once-a-week chorse... but its all done right on he surface pro... Meals you just click on the day in the meal section (very bottom of the day column) and click edit. It s basically just a webapp that stores stuff in sqlite on that device. Calendar is pulled from google calendar... my wife can add/delete events from this device as well, but requires a "parent pin" so kids don't accedentally mess with crap.
