Update to dropadoo - SFTP etc. - NEW with SSH Keys and passphrase

完整上下文原始内容 · Reddit

For those who already know me/dropadoo: I promised to continue working on dropadoo, and i do. What's new? After auto-zip and now following the last update with ftp etc. functionality, now with > SFTP SSH Key Authentication: You can now securely connect to your SFTP servers using private SSH keys! We've added full support for importing standard keys (RSA, Ed25519, ECDSA)—including those protected with a passphrase. It's optional, login with user/pass as always and of course keychain security, nothing changed here, nothing leaves your Mac... Newcomers - what is dropadoo? Dropadoo does exactly one thing and it does it perfectly: Send files to predefined e-mails (and ftp etc.) via drag and drop. Now think about platforms that accept email receipt... workflows with just one single drop: Asana, Box, ClickUp, Cloud-Storage, Dropbox, GitHub, Google Drive, HubSpot, Hubspot, IFTTT applets, Jira, Make, Mantis, Monday, Notion, Redmine, Trello, Zapier, Zenddesk, Zoho, to name a tew... Drop without further ado - dropadoo Problem: Time & clicks spent when you just quickly need to send attachments to frequently used recipients or platforms. (open e-mail client, open new mail, drop the attachment, enter recipient, send). Compare: I was not aware of a tool like that when i created it, now we have comparable apps that copied my weird wacky niche idea, however :( Then again, dropadoo is dedicated, has some nice options and is faster to use than the apps i tested since dropadoo dropped. Other than that it comes as standalone SMTP client, so, once configured, you don't clutter your email server and are fast as lightening. Pricing: FREE in the app store. https://apps.apple.com/us/app/dropadoo-send-files-via-drop/id6758711616?mt=12 I might raise it to a cheap one time purchase some time. Changelog: 1.1.0 features zip funtionality. You will find it in each dropzone to toggle it. 1.1.2 FTP functionality 1.2.0 SSH key functionality, w/wo passphrase Al Disclaimer: None. Hand coded from white sheet. Designed in Adobe XD, coded in Flutter, compiled after some OS-native changes in Xcode.

I’ve used my fair share of file-transferring apps over the years, from Transmit by Panic Software, Cyberduck, to Terminal. This is an interesting take on quickly moving files and definitely worth a look. Thanks op!

I'd love to use a tool like this but my workplace utilizes Outlook with Duo authentication. I can't do my app passwords. Any way to support Duo and other 2FA?

You should try it. My company does the same thing, and I can use this because Apple mail is approved. Check my post below.

For my use case (sending attachments to frequently used recipients within the workplace environment), that would not be ideal as I would want the files to come from my professional email. Hope that makes sense.

This is actually really awesome. I do a side project where at the end of every day I upload an Indesign file to an ftp. Same routine every time. I pay for an FTP client for this purpose, but this is way better for my needs.

greatness! super glad, u’ve come to the right place

Such a great app. I’ve always had issues with third party email apps as my company’s security policies make me do Oath login and getting anything approved is a pain because it has to be soc2 certified. This app uses Apple Mail in the background, which is approved by my company.
