for batch audio conversion, the thing that usually saves people is sane presets rather than more format names. i'd make the first screen ask for the goal: smaller files for sharing, mp3 for a car or old device, lossless archive, ringtone, etc. then keep advanced codec/bitrate stuff one click deeper. also make filename collisions and metadata/artwork behavior extremely explicit before the run starts. that's where batch converters can quietly make a mess.
Thanks for your suggestions, they’re really helpful. I’ll improve this part later by adding various scene presets and simplify complicated codec and bitrate settings.

Que sea 100% local y sin subidas es justo lo que le falta a casi todos los conversores; para audio con metadatos o material sin publicar da mucha tranquilidad. Dos dudas técnicas: ¿tira de ffmpeg por debajo o motor propio? Y en lotes grandes, ¿solo cambia contenedor/códec o también puede normalizar el volumen entre pistas? El editor de carátulas y metadata integrado suma bastante frente a las webs.
For common formats, it uses the system's built-in AVFoundation. For unsupported formats, it uses the ffmpeg-kit wrapper, which is my Swift dependency package based on ffmpeg.

Quick question does it do the same thing as what renaming the file name does or does this actually change the format?
My tool is primarily a format converter. Even if you select the same input and output formats, the program will still run transcoding as long as extra parameter settings are checked. I fully understand your request, and I will add a dedicated separate edit button later. This button only edits file metadata and won’t trigger any format transcoding.

local and offline is the way, i never trust web converters that upload your files who knows where. it can process many files at the same time? i have folders with hundreds of audios
