I know there must be a few out there, but just curious to know which app is top of peoples list! Open to opinions and dont want to spend loads but would be nice to copy something on my mac and paste on my iPhone. Thanks!

Doesn’t apple support this natively? Just enable Handoff from the Settings

Yes sorry id need something that has previously copied items too

yes, it works flawlessly for the last copied item. but if you need to paste previously copied items, then you need a separate app!

You can try my app https://cloudyclip.com, you can sync across any destop devices including Mac and Windows (mobile support will be available soon), sync storages includes Google Drive, and iCloud.

This sounds great! I'll download and let you know how it goes

This is a native function. I use it almost daily. You can also copy from your MacBook to your phone

It is supported natively if your devices are running under the same Apple ID (this is a must). Sometimes VPN may mess things up, so try disabling it if you have any running to test it out.

I use Pastepal premium and have been pretty happy -- good history, saved clipboards, search etc

I use SaneClip which has a companion iOS app. Not free but a great app and the developer is very active.

If you haven’t already, check out the MacApp Comparisons in the r/MacApps sidebar.

if you have the handoff activated the universal clipboard already work between mac and iphone, you copy in one and paste in the other. the problem is that it no save the history, for that you need an app like the others say

Hey there! If you want the fastest sync, check out Clipboard AI: https://clipboardai.app/ How is it different? - Up to 10x faster sync than any other clipboard - Find any paste anything(even from a year ago) in 3 seconds - Name your clips to find them easily - One licence across all your iPhones, iPads and Macs And it comes with an indie dev(me) who is always just a message away, excited to hear your feedback and feature suggestions!

I’m the developer of UniClipboard, so take this as a biased recommendation. It’s a clipboard manager similar to Paste, with clipboard history available on mobile and sync across devices. The main reason I built it was to support workflows beyond the Apple ecosystem, so it works across macOS, Windows, Linux, and mobile rather than only Mac and iPhone. It seems pretty close to what you described, and I’d genuinely appreciate any feedback if you try it.

Awesome Copy is my favorite so far, it's just awesome indeed so I would recommend it 100%

before paying for anything, i'd separate two needs here: cross-device copy/paste, and clipboard history. for one-off copy/paste between your own Mac and iPhone, the built-in handoff clipboard is usually enough. make sure both devices are on the same Apple ID, bluetooth + wifi are on, handoff is enabled, and neither device is on a weird VPN/firewall that blocks local discovery. copy on one device, then paste on the other within a minute or two. if you need searchable history or saved snippets across devices, that is when a separate clipboard manager makes more sense. i would be cautious with anything that syncs clipboard history through someone else's cloud though, since clipboards often contain passwords, tokens, addresses, and private text.

If your clipboard history leaves your device, it’s not your clipboard history anymore.

there is a free one on appstore called CloudClip which works great and is simple to use.

Here's a non vibecoded one: https://www.ntwind.com/remote/clipboard.html
