They must have changed the pricing. I paid around $25 for the lifetime version earlier this year.

I use Karakeep (previously Hoarder). It's open-sourced and free. I like that you can self host and not worry about privacy issues.

Free option nobody's mentioned yet — Raindrop.io. Generous free tier, saves links, images/screenshots, PDFs and notes into collections with tags, and it has a visual card/grid view that's honestly great for the "come back and review it later" part. For ADHD I find seeing thumbnails way easier than scrolling a text list. Mac app + iOS + browser extensions, all synced. If you mostly care about links/articles, GoodLinks is a solid $10 one-time purchase (no subscription) with tags and offline reading. I'd start with Raindrop since it costs nothing — you can find out whether the save-and-review habit actually sticks before spending anything.

I've tried Resurf and for real the app is pretty good. I just feel like I can't trust the dev. Impossible to have respond to question in the discord. They disappeared for months and post an update. It also feel really vibe coded. I'm also a student and the price is really really steep, but was about to buy it but the more time passed, the more i'm not sure if the app have a good future, thaht the bug are gonna be fixed and that the dev will be around. I discovered Stash Everything that also look like a good alternative. It also look very vibe coded but it wor pretty good on IPhone and is way cheaper (10$). The only thing is that the mac app dosent offer much and is more to just see what you have already saved.

I swaer i'm just a normal student trying to find a good app like this. Stash Everything is far from perfect, even very far from raycast, but it only cost 10$ and if it do the job. I've only downloaded yesterday so not used it this much and haven’t buy it yet either. My main point was that after trying Resurf, I'm not sure if I want to pay for an app that as poor support and transparency.

Hey Milou, also a Resurf user here. I understand your concerns, however I would have a little more faith in the developer. I would also like to share my thoughts about the points you mentioned. Regarding what you said about getting an answer being impossible. Have you tried reaching to the developer directly? I personally reached out to them through email, discord server and direct messages. In all cases, I received the answer by the next day. If they haven’t answered your question, I recommend sending a direct message through Discord. If you did and still didn’t get an answer, I agree it’s weird. Also, about the „ They disappeared for months and post an update”. I am not sure what you mean by this. I don’t see them being silence for months. If you mean it like there haven’t been updates lately, check the help-desk channel. He stated there he’s working on the native version, which I believe needs to have the whole code redone.

Really??? That dev has promised to send upgrade licences to early believers to v2 and so far nothing. No communication nothing. My advice for others is stay away from this app

I have the same problem. Plus No ios app is a big disappointment. Stash app is great 👍
