ClickClack 3.6.3: Deep Accuracy Analytics, NGram Core Mastery, and Precision UI Tools ⌨️🚀
[Problem] For a long time, I hit a wall with my typing speed. Every test I took just flashed a "WPM" number at the end, but it never told me why I kept stumbling on the same keys. I wanted to stop just "practicing" and start fixing the micro-bottlenecks—those specific bigrams and trigrams that break my flow—without being treated like a data product or needing a browser account to see my own stats. [Comparison] I grew frustrated with web-based trainers (like Monkeytype). They’re popular, but they’re still just web wrappers: they rely on tracking, constant internet, and account logins. I built ClickClack as the "performance alternative"—a pure, native SwiftUI app. It runs on iPhone, iPad, and Mac, works 100% offline, Sync stats between devices seamlessly with iCloud, and respects your privacy. No accounts, no data collection, and no browser overhead. It uses local Apple Intelligence to generate insights, giving you a high-performance training experience that web apps simply can’t match. [Pricing] Free to download. $7.99 One Time Pro IAP for extended modes. [App Store] What’s New in 3.6.3: Advanced Accuracy Dashboard: Visualize your weaknesses. New pie chart analysis identifies your top mistakes and specific error patterns. NGram Core Mastery: Go beyond raw WPM. Focus accuracy on high-frequency Bigrams and Trigrams to build genuine muscle memory. Lesson Progress Tracker: New circular progress indicators to track your curriculum mastery, lesson by lesson. Pro-Level UI: New keymap previewer (supports QWERTY, Dvorak, Colemak, Workman, etc.) and an adjustable hand-guide opacity slider to reduce visual noise. Other Core Features: Performance: Native SwiftUI app; 0% data collection. Privacy: All AI processing is local using Apple Intelligence foundation models. Customization: Support for custom typing text, user-imported Sound Packs and custom fonts (TTF/OTF). Training: On-device AI-generated typing text from diverse topics. Competition: Real-time matches with Game Center integration and adjustable difficulty for VS CPU Mode. Changelog: App Store Version History AI Disclaimer: Human Validated

just a tip - your text reads not easily to digest. i have a vague idea what it is you are saying, yet i'm not touched. meant super nicely helpful, i'm not your rando reddit troll. just saying you are selling below your worth (is that german translatable? not sure, you get it)
Thanks for the feedback!
ur welcome. i thought a thanx comes with an upvote. but maybe thats just me :)
honestly the idea is solid, but the pitch is doing too much at once. i had to reread to get it
Nice video!
Thanks!
native swiftui typing app that syncs across iphone ipad and mac? thats already better than every web trainer out there. how does typing practice work on iphone tho, feels weird without a real keyboard
Thanks for the kind words, really appreciate it! Yeah, practicing on the on-screen keyboard can feel a bit unusual at first, but it still works well for improving accuracy and rhythm. That said, you can also connect an external keyboard to your iPhone, or use something like the Magic Keyboard on iPad for a more “real” typing experience.
Cool video! How did you create the effect in the beggining-zooming in the laptop?
Thanks, i’m using Rotato app to create the 3d effect.
Thank you, will check it out!
Would love to give pro a go, do you offer a free trial?
Hey! Thanks for your interest 🙌 Right now Pro is a one-time purchase, so there isn’t a free trial. I tried to keep the price as fair as possible since it’s a lifetime unlock.

Yeah, that’s a fair comparison 👍 ClickClack overlaps on the core typing practice, but I’m focusing on a few things that are a bit different: • Global Multiplayer with Game Center and local VS CPU Mode. • Native app performance (especially on iOS/Mac) • Cleaner, distraction-free UI • Customization (themes, fonts, sounds, layouts) • More privacy-friendly (no data tracking, everything stays on device/iCloud) It’s less about replacing the alternative and more about offering a different kind of experience, especially if you prefer a native, minimal setup.
