I love fluent but I feel like I’m only scratching the surface. I find it pretty hard to learn. A few more detailed videos especially on connecting to apps would be appreciated. That said, everyone buy this app it’s amazing.
Thanks a ton! I'm certainly planning on videos and tutorials, sorry for the delay. Actually I'm planning to release more things that would simplify the setup, including asking Fluent to help you connect apps with least effort. Prompt refiner is one of the steps to help make things "work out-of-the-box".
Been using Fluent now for a few months and I think it's really good. A bunch of features and options to get your head around, but once you get going, start to make it your own, it becomes indispensable. Plus, Vadim is really helpful and listens to his users. Highly recommended.

I am really interested in setting up a shortcut to summarise open YouTube tabs in Firefox, can you help me what I need to change? From that action this is the response I get when trying to make it fire on the open YouTube tab: I'm unable to access the content of the YouTube video at the moment due to a technical issue with the required settings in Safari. Looks cool! I'm curious about the token consumption level. Though I guess it's pretty hard to measure.
Consumption for basic tasks without integrations enabled is pretty low. Many users use Fluent for writing tasks and barely exceed $5 during several months. With MCP workflows – it varies, but it's my priority to constantly optimize the engine.
How are deeplinks working?
Hey there, This is the complete example with all currently supported parameters (all optional): open "fluent://v1/actions/run?id=82C7329E-C4FF-4DF7-A2C8-795FED562082&text=Selected Text Example&prompt=Additional Prompt&attachment=/Users/Fluent/Downloads/image.jpg&background=false" You can copy action ID from the main management window, right click on action card. New options are coming, and when they are there, I'll update the documentation accordingly.
[UPDATE] It does have web search built-in, working smoothly, and the other features really impressed me. The last time I tried Fluent, it lacked a built-in web browser function, which led me to choose a different option.
I was gonna build something like this with 3 ingredients: Witsy [helper that's open source] Ollama [some local AI model] Parakeet v3 I planned on Witsy to be the input helper where you can highlight any text off your mac, then also be able to dictate custom prompts to it. My question to you about fluent is: Does / will it support dictation based on free local AI models like Parakeet? So, you could dictate even a 5-10min rambling on to summarize it, or just dictate, or have a conversation with the AI or custom prompt it to do something specific with that highlighted text? How much RAM + CPU+ SSD space does fluent currently take up while idle or in peak? And do you have an auto-mount / auto-dismount from RAM to free up space if the user doesn't utilize fluent for 5-10 min? Many thanks :)
Hey there, I consider adding voice control, but with a focus shifted more to issuing tasks in Fluent itself, rather than traditional dictation or transcribing. You can check it out for yourself, but it's usually 100MB RAM and 0,1-0,9% CPU on idle. Peak really depends. In general when working with Fluent, issuing tasks – 200-300MB RAM. If you're using local models, it can vary dramatically. Fluent has this mechanism for local models. For other needs it's not quite necessary right now, the 100-300MB range isn't worth to optimize this part yet :) Hope it helps.
